Ariel Gail

Professor Gail S. Goodman, Director of the Psychology Department and Director of Center for Public Policy Research is at University of California Davis. It is believed that she was the one responsible for initiating the modern study of eyewitnesses' memory, and also children's witnesses. Professor Goodman who is a prolific author with a wide range of papers and grants to her name, is also the recipient of a variety of international and national prizes. She has advised numerous authorities and government agencies around the world about policies as well as research related to the treatment of child victims of the law by the system. She also serves as a consultant to the Special Assault Forensic Evaluation Center. (formerly Multidisciplinary Interview Center) (formerly Multidisciplinary Interview Center) Sacramento County Child Protective Services. She is a fellow of numerous professional associations, including the Association for Psychological Science and the American Psychological Association (Divisions Experimental Psychology Developmental Psychology Society for the Psychological Study of Social Issues Society for Child and Family Policy and Practice American Psychology-Law Society Psychology of Women and Traumatic Stress 56). Prof. Goodman is a fellow of the Psychonomics Society Society for Research in Child Development American Professional Society on the Abuse of Children and also the International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies. She was the president of three divisions (Division Society for Policy on Child and Family as well as Practice Division of the American Psychology-Law Society and Division Developmental Psychology) and one section (Child Maltreatment) of the American Psychological Association.
