Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn, an American actress. Her most well-known role was as Skyler on the AMC drama Breaking Bad. She won Primetime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Leading Performance by a Supporting Actress in a a Drama Series in 2013 and 2014. Her other roles include Jean Ward in The Practice and Martha Bullock from Deadwood. She was born in Sante Fe, New Mexico in 1968 Anna Gunn fell in love with the art of acting at Preparatory School, before her family relocated to Ohio at the end of the 1970's. She did theatre studies at Northwestern University, and spent one term at British American Drama Academy. Anna started out in Chicago performing in stage role for several years. Later, she relocated to Hollywood and began acting in films and TV shows. Anna had her biggest break in 1992 when she appeared as Arden in 29 episodes of Down the Shore. Anna continued to be in film and TV series such as Seinfeld, NYPD Blue and other shows until the end of 1990's. She was then selected for The Practice as Jean Ward. The mid-2000's saw her was cast in Deadwood playing Martha Bullock for two full seasons. In 2008, she was picked as Skyler as Skyler in Breaking Bad. Sully and Deadwood was also an integral the highlights of her work. Gunn also took to the stage to play in the David Schwimmer directed production Sex With Strangers. The year 2022 saw Gunn played in a 4-part audio-play series called "Numbered Days". Breaking Bad's story is usually driven by the relationship with Walter White, his wife Skyler and their strained relationship. The decline of their relationship is in line with Walter White's final days.
